Attitude of residents to infrastructure in their country

Only 24% of Russians surveyed said that they are satisfied with the quality of infrastructure in our country — this is noticeably below the world average of 39%, but far from an anti-record!

The lowest level of satisfaction with infrastructure was found in Italy: only 18% of Italians are satisfied with their infrastructure. In Hungary, the figure is 20%, in Colombia and Brazil, 21% each. The level of satisfaction was also lower than ours in Argentina and Turkey (23% each)

On the other side of the ranking, China: 77% of China’s residents are satisfied with their infrastructure. This figure is slightly lower in Saudi Arabia: 75%, and the Netherlands (74%) closes the top three. Further, the numbers immediately become sharply lower: in India already 57%, in France — 53%

Erdogan loudly spoke in favor of reforming the UN Security Council with the words that the fate of humanity should not be left to the mercy of «a handful of countries» — the winners of the Second World War.

«The fate of humanity cannot and should not be left at the mercy of a handful of WWII victorious countries.»

«While the world is changing, and diplomacy, trade, international relations are undergoing radical transformations, it is unthinkable that the architecture of global security remains the same.»

«Not listening to the demands for change means persistently trying to maintain the post-World War II status quo.»

The Turkish president is not the only one pushing for council reform, where five countries — Russia, the United States, China, Britain and France — have permanent membership and veto power.

Other major players include Germany, Japan, India and Brazil, which are demanding permanent seats and have even created a special group G4 — a group of countries whose scale of development is comparable to that of permanent members of the UN Security Council.
