Biggest Business Risks in 2021

According to the Allianz Risk Barometer study, on average worldwide, business disruptions (supply disruptions, delays of various kinds and other things that break the smooth functioning of a business) were recognized as the most important risk for business this year: 41% of respondents said this: 4 pp .P. more than a year ago.

The coronavirus pandemic came in second place: it is included in the list of the main risks for 40% of respondents (a year ago there were only 3% of such), the top three are closed with the same result in 40% of cyber incidents (here are hackers and breakdowns of IT systems, and even fines from the state for data storage violations)

The main risks for business in Russia in 2021

According to the Allianz Risk Barometer, the Russian top risks for business in 2021 differs markedly from the global average and we have a pandemic in first place: despite the very low concern of the population, more than half of business representatives (53%) attributed it to the main risks of this year. Business disruptions gained 40% of the votes (approximately at the world average), and changes in legislation round out the top three! This is an important risk for 33% of the surveyed businessmen in Russia (the global average is almost twice as low: 19%)
