Consumer plans of Russians

According to a Levada Center survey (the organization is included in the register of non-profit organizations that act as a foreign agent), Russian consumer sentiment improved slightly in May compared to April: the proportion of Russians who are going to make all their planned purchases on schedule increased somewhere one and a half to two times a month. In the lowest-income group, however, there were still only 7% of them (against 5% in April), but in the highest-income group there were 26% of them against 19% in April

At the same time, the share of Russians who are going to postpone purchases has noticeably decreased: it now ranges from 36% in the high-income group to 42% in the low-income group (against 51-57% a month earlier)
