EU countries will have the right to review decisions on Schengen visas previously issued to Russians. This was announced on Tuesday by the European Commissioner for Home Affairs, Ylva Johansson.
According to her, such recommendations will be given to the member countries of the Schengen zone as part of the revision of the visa regime with Russia. According to the EC, as of September 1, 963,000 Russian citizens had valid Schengen visas.
