Climate change. Goods and services

In recent years, have you changed the range of goods and services you consume because of concerns about climate change?

According to the Ipsos survey, only 40% in October 2021 answered this question positively — and this is the penultimate result among the 29 countries included in the survey, it is lower only in Japan: only 22% of the inhabitants of the Land of the Rising Sun changed their consumption due to concerns about climate problems

The world average figure is much higher: 56%, and the maximum figures, which is interesting, are characteristic not of Europe, where the «green» agenda is very strong, but in India (76%), Latin America and China (72%). And just in developed countries, people do not seek to change their consumption in the name of the environment: the USA and the Netherlands are in third place (after Japan and us) (41% of respondents changed their consumption each), followed by Norway (43%)

It is also interesting that a year and a half ago, in January 2020, these figures were much higher: on average, for all countries, 69% changed their consumption for the sake of the environment, and less than 50% was only in Japan.
