The Austrian capital took first place in the ranking, gaining the maximum score for the abundance of green spaces and the quality of the road surface, writes Euronews. Experts also assessed the low level of air pollution in the city.
The rating was made by the French brand of sports shoes. The company took into account seven factors that can affect outdoor exercise: air pollution, amount of green space, CO2 emissions, quality of footpaths, average temperature, humidity levels and water quality.
In addition to Vienna, the top 10 ranking includes seven other European cities: Santa Cruz de Tenerife in Spain, Rome, Stockholm, Berlin, Lisbon, Barcelona, Copenhagen.
Vienna has previously been named the most livable city in the world.
