NATO enlargement in Europe

At the time of its creation in 1949, NATO included only 12 countries. Over the past more than 70 years, their number has grown to 30

Most of NATO’s quantitative growth has occurred in the last few decades: in the period before 1999, 4 countries joined NATO, and from 1999 to 2020, another 14.

For the most part, NATO’s recent enlargements are small countries in Eastern and Southern Europe. In recent years, the alliance has grown with North Macedonia in 2020, Montenegro in 2017, Croatia and Albania in 2009

Olympic champion-pentathlete about Russian footballers

And we are ready to talk about football players every day, fill all the broadcasts with them. Okay, fill in if they were heroes. Or don’t pay them that much then. Otherwise, something will not work out, ”Lesun complained.
