According to a U.S. poll, the top reasons for moving away from electric vehicles are higher purchase prices and concerns about the availability of charging infrastructure, with the two options each garnering 60% of the vote.
Slightly fewer (58%) respondents said they were worried that the car’s charge would run out (apparently, somewhere along the way — and you can’t take a can of gasoline with you!), 55% each said they had problems with long trips and high battery replacement cost.
Apparently, the one who invents an inexpensive, capacious and fast-charging battery (at least just an inexpensive one) will get rich
