The Russian consumer spent an average of 513 rubles per trip to the store in June. This is 8 rubles (1.5%) less than in May, according to a study of the holding company “Romir”.
It is noted that the index of the average check decreases for the third month in a row. Taking into account the official monthly inflation, the decrease in the average check in June was only 1%. Compared to June 2017, the indicator fell by 1.9%.
From January to March 2018, the average check index showed growth, but in April this trend was interrupted. The April figure was 530 rubles, which is 4.7% less than in March.
