Russians will need to purchase a policy

From June 1, 2023, Russian drivers planning trips to the EU countries or Switzerland will need to purchase an OSAGO policy for those countries where they expect to go, the Russian Union of Auto Insurers said in a statement.

This is due to the completion of bilateral agreements on the recognition of Green Card insurance certificates between the Russian Union of Motor Insurers and the EU states, as well as Switzerland.
