Scholarship for the new academic year

The Ministry of Education and Science of Russia named the amount of scholarships for the next 2022 academic year

“From September 1, 2022, the basic (minimum) amount of student scholarships will be: state academic scholarship, higher education — 1,755 rubles, secondary vocational education — 638 rubles,” the Ministry of Education and Science said in response to a request from Gazeta.Ru.

The state social scholarship for universities will amount to 2634 rubles, for institutions of secondary vocational education — 958 rubles.

The department explained that the size of the scholarships was based on the law on the federal budget for 2022-2024, which provides for their indexation to an inflation rate of no more than 4%.
