The main buyers of Russian oil

China buys the most oil from Russia: for $23.77 billion according to 2020 data, which accounted for almost a third of total exports

European countries follow: the Netherlands (13% of total exports) and Germany (8.7%). Further, too, all completely “unfriendly” countries (except for Belarus in 7th place, where a little less than 5% of our oil exports go)

Another question is that these countries still do not refuse Russian oil, and the United States that refused made up only 1.3% of the total volume of our exports. The UK, which is about to abandon Russian oil, also accounts for a rather modest 1.5%

20% say that women have fewer rights (which is slightly more than the record 19% in 2011, but significantly less than the levels around 40% that were two decades ago), and that women have more rights — just 10 % (although this is slightly below the 12% of the record year 2011)

The reason for the increase in temperature in the Arctic is explained. Experts concluded that the unusually warm weather and lack of clouds could be caused by foehn — meteorological phenomena, as a result of which the temperature on the leeward side of mountain ranges increases significantly. Long-term persistence of such weather leads to active melting of glaciers and snow. Scientists believe that the findings of their work will help to more accurately predict and study climate change in the Arctic.

A group of Chinese scientists announced the flight tests of a new type of rotary detonation engine (RDD). All prototypes of such engines created to date in the world use a long cylindrical combustion chamber. China has created a compact RDD with a disk combustion chamber.

The rotary detonation engine creates a shock wave after the detonation of the fuel in the working chamber. Traditionally, this is a double cylinder, into the walls of which fuel is injected. The combustion front is constantly moving in the annular combustion chamber, and the fuel mixture is fed into the chamber either continuously or in portions (pulses). A kind of fire tornado arises from the shock wave. This leads to the creation of aircraft at hyperspeeds and saving up to 50% of fuel, both due to an increase in the efficiency of engines, and due to the fact that oxygen for the combustion reaction can be taken directly from the air surrounding rockets and aircraft.
