The main sources of happiness

According to an Ipsos survey, globally, the top sources of happiness for people were physical and mental health and well-being, relationships (with spouse/partner), sense of meaning in life, and children

Russians are not very different from residents of other countries here (the numbers in the table are the place that this position occupies in the ranking of the main sources of happiness in the country), only the order changes: children come first in our country (as in Australia, France and Sweden, to in a word), physical health is in second place, relationships close the top three. The only difference is 4th place, on it we have «the presence of a person with whom you want to be» (separate from relationships), on average in the world it takes 17th place

Another of the interesting things: in Muslim countries (Saudi Arabia and Malaysia), religion is in 1st place, in Japan — free time, in South Korea — money, and Brazilians have children and relationships that do not bring happiness at all
