The most desirable countries for Russians

Tranio analysts have studied the popular requests of Russians in Yandex related to emigration. The time period for requests is from September 2020 to September 2021.

“Political asylum” stands out with a special margin: for the United States, it was requested on average 3,025 times a month, while no other country received more than 350 requests.

Among the leaders in 2021 are also Turkey (102 thousand requests), Poland, Canada and Spain.
