Despite the fact that Wikipedia has pages in hundreds of different languages, the list of really popular languages is very small and in many countries people read Wikipedia more often in a foreign language than in their native language.
For example, the English version of Wikipedia ranks first not only in English-speaking countries, but also in India, Norway, Iceland, many Balkan countries, African countries, Southeast Asia, and even Mongolia. And also in Georgia!
The French Wikipedia is the most popular choice of people in many African countries, and in Muslim countries, the Arabic version of Wikipedia is most often visited.
And the Russian-language version of Wikipedia, in addition to Russia, took first place in many countries of Central Asia, Belarus, Ukraine and Moldova.
