Big three conference

On November 28, 1943, the opening of the conference took place in Tehran, in which the leaders of three countries — the USSR, the USA and the UK — Joseph Stalin, Franklin Roosevelt and Winston Churchill took part. This was the first conference of the Big Three during World War II, the purpose of which was to develop a final strategy for the struggle against Nazi Germany and its allies.

At the conference, a statement was made that the post-war world will be governed by four powers (USSR, USA, England, France), operating under the auspices of a new international organization (United Nations)

At the end of the conference on December 1, the Declaration on Joint Actions in the War against Germany and on Post-War Cooperation was adopted, and an agreement was reached on the opening of the Second Front in Europe in May 1944.
